SWORD and STAFF SPARRING
Sword Sparring continues as part of the Saturday application class. It is now happening every other week (special events permitting). This month’s sword classes are scheduled for April 3rd and 17th, 2010. The class will focus on hand, leg, and movement drills then continue into push sword, skill sword and free sword play work. Eye protection and a padded sword are required. Various types of sparring weapons are available and prices run from $30-$40 each depending upon the style of the weapon. Protective eye wear is $10 each.
We are also looking to start combat staff /pole training. Students interested in studying staff applications will need to contact Paul to order their padded staffs, head and torso padding and other protective equipment.
